Springing forward!

Hi everyone! Wow, I really can’t believe its been so long in between posts.. I suppose having a 21 month old and a 7 month old can take up alot of my time

Since my last post, I have completed several new commissioned pieces for a baptism, a shower and a birthday party! Its always so nice when people think of me for such special occasions, and really original art is a great, creative and unique gift! Lasts a lot longer than some toys or clothes the child will outgrow! And its a great distraction tool for a crying baby! Often I walk my 7 month old up to my jungle piece and name all the animals we see, the trees, the sun etc.. and he enjoys it so much he forgets what he was even upset about to begin with!

Would love to be part of any Easter baskets this year- keep the chocolate to a minimum and load up on presents that will last much longer!

Happy Holidays!!

WOW! Where has the time gone since my last post? It is now 10 days before Christmas, and trying to take care of last minute gifts while taking care of my two little ones! Busy busy, but always fun!!

I have recently started displaying my art at a really amazing local toy store called Tag Along Toys (www.tagalongtoys.com). Hope it goes well, I look forward to many visits to the store. I will probably end up spending much more than I will make because its just so fun and filled with amazing products (including great art! Hehe!)

I just got into painting owls and they are proving to be a HIT!

I also just had a booth displaying and selling my art at an event called Shopping and Sweets in Orleans. That was a lot of fun and I met some pretty neat people and got to support a charity at the same time.

Last week I sold one of my cupcake pieces to a lady who is on her 7th piece of mine! What a lovely feeling having someone love your work that much! She was buying it for her daughter for Christmas. What a “sweet” idea!!!

Well, I better go start the next commissioned piece I have to do before Christmas- a princess dress that will be personalized for the little girl- better make sure to get it to Santa before its too late

Wow, I can’t believe it is almost September! Now that busy August is almost over I just wanted to say a huge Thank You to all who came out to the Greek Festival to support me! Just like the years before, this year was also very successful! It is always so fun to chat with everyone who comes in, whether they are interested in my abstract art or my children’s art!

I have some awesome kids pieces left, perfect for Christmas gifts! I can personalize them too! Also, for anyone who wants to freshen up their home without spending too much money, I have some really amazing abstract pieces that are sure to be a hit! Contact me!

So thanks again to all my great customers! Off I go to take care of my one month old and my 14 month old, and maybe try to squeeze a painting or two out!

Welcome, little one!

On July 23rd, we welcomed a new addition to our family. James Robert was born and we couldn’t be more happy to have him here! His older sister (who just turned 1!) is making us so proud with her love and adoration for her baby brother. She kisses him all the time!

In the 9 months that I was pregnant while taking care of a baby, I managed to squeeze out a few new pieces of art that you are sure to love.

I will be displaying my art at the Greek Summer Festival again this year, from August 10-20th. I would love to see you all there! OPA!

Gymboree Event!!! June 9th- 3:30-7:00pm!!!

Come escape the heat at Gymboree! Bring your little ones for free playgym and arts and crafts on Thursday June 9th, between 330-7pm! Its free, and fun- what more do you want!? Art, you say?? SURE! I will be there displaying my artwork as well and would LOVE to see you all!!!
I will have new childrens pieces available tomorrow!! Perfect Thursday evening..

Saturday June 4th- Come see me at the Sandy Hill Spring Fair!!!!

I was so excited to get an email about displaying my art at the Sandy Hill Fair on Saturday June 4th! It will be from 9-2, rain or shine, tons of activities to do with the kids, face painting, prizes, bake sale, games and of course, a stop at my booth to come say hello!!!!

Come out to Gymboree in Orleans (373 Vantage Dr.) for FREE open gym and crafts between 3:15-7:15pm, and a FREE family class at 6:15pm!!!!! AND while your kids are enjoying all the awesomeness that Gymboree has to offer, I will be holding a mini art show with all my original children’s art!!! I will be on hand to personalize anything, and to take orders!
